Good morning.
This is what I saw on our street this morning.
Take a close look.
That metal tube thing lying on the ground?
That's a piece of a bike lock.
Yes...
someone cut a tree down to steal a bike that had been locked to it.

Columbia Heights is so close to me... 15min walk. But I had never been. We went and there are some 'big box' stores there- Target, BestBuy, Bed Bath and Beyond, Marshalls, etc.
The whole area is all new, vibrant, active.
The Target is 2 levels. They have a seperate escalator for your shopping carts! It's really cool (cute) to watch the carts ride up alongside their human counterparts.

i've often wanted to take a picture of this sign-
had my camera out to take snow pictures.. so i took the opportunity.
just find it sort of fitting (children should be dealt with with caution)
